This is just all the rules we could think of.
This is a tentative list subject to change and not final.
If you have anything to add or change just post a reply.
Henderson 2011 Fall/Winter Two Hand Touch League (HTHT)
League dues are 10 dollars (this pays for everything including cash prize for winners)
There will be an open pickup game this Saturday 10/15 at White at 5:30pm where everyone is going to play then vote for captains, so if you want to be involved you have to show up
There will be two games a week (Sundays unless scheduled differently by your captain)
If your team can’t play on your scheduled time it is up to your captain to contact your opponent and schedule a different time sometime during the week
If you can’t figure it out you will receive an automatic loss if you don’t show up for your scheduled time
Trades must be agreed to by both teams and the commissioner
$5 for most touchdowns thrown
$5 for most touchdowns ran/caught
$5 for most interceptions
$5 for most sacks
$10 for MVP (voted on by every league member/ this person cant win any other bonuses)
$200 to the championship team ($40 each)
Your entry fee is your ticket to be drafted (you will not be allowed to play until you have handed over the cash)
If you miss more than 2 games for any reason your captain has the right to drop you and your money is unrecoverable
All games will be played at Thurman White Middle School on Sunday at 1 pm
This is very flexible: as long as both teams agree on a date, place, and time and contact one of the commissioners the game will count
Everyone in the draft will vote on the five best players and they will be captains
There will be a snake style draft (order will be drawn out of a hat/pick trading is allowed)
Teams will be posted on website and standings and stats will be kept online
There will be two games a week and schedule will be posted online
The top 3 teams will make the playoffs with 1 getting a bye and 2vs3 being the first round game
Tiebreaker will be head to head
Second tiebreaker is least points allowed

Game Rules
You can choose between one and two point conversions
Football cleats are allowed
Any approved ball is allowed for offense (no nerf)
3 downs to a first down
First down is midfield
50 yard field (standard Thurman white size)
Touchdowns are worth 6
8 minute quarters (clock stops last 2 minutes on out of bounds and incompletions)
Two feet in for a catch
Two hand touch as determined by ref
No laterals
You must snap off the ground from a center to a quarterback
5 yard bump for corners
No blocking or holding(you must freeze in place)
1 blitz per 3 downs (you don’t have to be 7 yards back)
1 rush per 3 downs
You can rush in from the 7 yard marker and the quarterback can run anytime the rusher crosses the line
10 second automatic sack (time kept by ref)
Coin flip for ball or choice of side
Penalties
Pass interference- spot foul automatic first down
Unnecessary roughness (tackling)- 10 yard penalty automatic first down
Offsides-(play continues to run)- 3 yards repeat down
False start- (play stops)- 3 yards repeat down
Blocking- spot foul (where the receiver is)
All other rules refer to NFL rules
There is no grounding(you can throw it away anytime)
